Nour

female • young • Light tabby with distinctive white chest marking

recovery

Nour was first spotted in March 2024 near the spice market routes, looking thin and wary. Her name means "light" in Arabic.

Nour is a young female cat showing remarkable resilience. First observed in March 2024 with an eye infection and underweight condition, she has since been receiving consistent medical care and is steadily recovering. Her cautious nature suggests past trauma, but she is gradually learning to trust the feeding routine. Nour demonstrates intelligence in her survival strategy - always checking escape routes before approaching food, and maintaining awareness of her surroundings. She has become a symbol of what consistent care can achieve. From a struggling stray to a monitored crew member with a recovery plan, Nour represents the core mission of this project. Current focus: Complete recovery from respiratory infection, continue weight gain, and schedule sterilization for summer 2024 once full health is confirmed.

Personality

Cautious but curious. Watches carefully from a distance. Intelligent and strategic. Gradually building trust with regular caregivers. Shows good social skills with other crew cats.
